The Chandra Alexis Chess Club offers private and group lessons on a first-come, first-served basis. We have a limited number of instructors and time slots available.

We do not accept students who currently are taking or recently have taken private or group lessons from another Boise area instructor. Please contact me if you have any questions about your current program.

All lessons are held at Blue Pencil White Pawn Editing & Chess located at 7337 W. Northview Street, Suite 4, Boise, Idaho 83704. The office is located in the Scott Hayhurst DMD, dental building at the corner of Cole and Northview. Entrance to the office is on the north side of the building (street) downstairs.

Players who are accepted as students will receive a one-hour lesson at the following rates:

The rate is $15 for up to one hour. If there is more than one student attending, the fee is $15 for the first student and $7.50 for each additional student.

Should you fail to appear for your lesson without notifying your instructor, you will be dropped from the program and your slot made available to another student. Should you be readmitted at a future date, you will be charged for the missing lesson. You will also be charged the current instruction rate.
